I'm an undergraduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Warangal.
I am broadly interested in research in various applications of deep learning, particularly Computer Vision.
I like working on challenging and practical problems, rather than just learning in theory. I'm a true bengali at heart and have lived in Kolkata for most part of my high school life.
I like staying at different places. I ain't a nomad but I've lived at numerous cities since childhood, namely Kolkata, San Jose, Columbus, Miami, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Bangalore (a brief visit :P) and currently in college at the heritage city of Warangal.

Our project work won the Runner-Up prize for "Best Intern Paper/Poster" at MLADS-SYNAPSE 2019, Microsoft's internal ML, AI and Data Science conference.
A young and independent research group born out of Innovation Garage, NITW focusing on research problems in Deep Learning and it's applications in Speech, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
Implementations of major cryptosystems in C/C++.
Hill Cipher, DES, AES, ElGamal, RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptography

Technologies Used: C, C++, Python.
In this project, our objective is to improve decision-making of autonomous vehicles in case of rain. This system clears the haze and distortion caused by rain in order to improve visibility, and enhances the view at the same time. Lots of accidents have been caused by poor visibility as wipers are not always effective. [Project Link]
Technologies Used: Tensorflow, Django, CNNs.
A multithreaded implementation of the popular Apriori algorithm, using concepts from the Data Warehousing & Data Mining and Operating Systems courses in college. [Project Link]
Technologies Used: C++, PThreads library.
Developed a robotic claw which can mimic hand gestures to showcase at the finale of INK Makers Makeathon-2017 at IIIT Hyderabad. The uniqueness of this claw lies in the fact that the flex sensors were created using a low cost alternative. This led to a drastic reduction in cost of the device.
Technologies Used: Arduino Uno, multi-purpose motors and sensors.
